Christie oversees all aspects of The Tribute Companies, which own four cemeteries in Wisconsin as well as Precast concrete manufacturing facilities in Illinois and Indiana and an Architectural firm that specializes in cemetery and funeral home design and development.
Matthew Pagel
Sales Manager
Meet Matthew Pagel. Matthew joined Pinelawn Memorial Park in January, 2021. Matthew grew up locally in Butler, WI. He believes in hard work, helping others, and that laughter is always the best medicine. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and getting away to go camping or hiking.
Lauren Snifka
Family Service Counselor
Lauren joined the team and Pinelawn Memorial park to put her years of being a customer service aficionado to better use. She’s a Milwaukee native that can be easily found outside at year-round community events. Family, nature, and music are the best forms of therapy and peace for Lauren. Empathy is the word Lauren chooses to describe how she comes to each meeting with everyone, saying “everyone has a story, you just need to stop and truly listen to them tell it.
Kyle Boltz
Grounds Technician
Meet Kyle Boltz. Kyle assists with all aspects of grounds operations and is always there to lend a helping hand and will always assist families when needed. He and his wife, are avid Disney enthusiasts, making it an annual tradition since their honeymoon. Kyle is a big dog lover and shares his home with three furry companions.
Kate Sherry
Administrative Assistant
Kate joined Pinelawn Memorial Park in September 2022. Kate was born and raised in WI, with a few stops living in NYC, Chicago, and Ireland. She comes from a theatre/communications and marketing/branding background, is classically trained in Shakespearean theatre, and spends her spare time dabbling in graphic design and building her photography portfolio.
Leah Duckert-Kroll
Customer Relations Manager
Leah joined Pinelawn Memorial Park in September of 2024 after almost 25 years as a teacher in secondary education. She has a deep passion for Milwaukee, its diverse people, and its storied history. Leah is dedicated to providing compassionate care and resources to families, and the community.
Elizabeth Skoglind
Burial Coordinator
Milwaukee native, you may have seen Liz serving at several hotspots around the city or running around managing breweries and golf courses. As a hospitality expert, she brings a genuine touch of compassion to all she encounters and adores taking care of people. Although this is her first year at Tribute, Liz is honored to devote her career to serving people in their time of need. While not at work, Liz enjoys kayaking, walking her dog along Lake Michigan and checking out a farmer’s market scavenging for knickknacks.
Thomas Jamar
Grounds Technician
Tom has been in the manufacturing and landscaping industry for many years. He enjoys working on a team and the variety of work. Tom has been married to his wife Amy for almost 30 years. They have two daughters and one granddaughter. In is free time Tom enjoys fishing and watching football.
