Memorial Day Remembrance Program

Time:  9:45 a.m. rain or shine
Place:  Pinelawn’s Veterans Island

Please join us on this special day to honor veterans who have served, and to salute those who are currently serving our country. James A. Duff, acting Director of Veterans Services for Milwaukee and 21-year Army Veteran, will be our Keynote Speaker. The celebration will feature bagpipes by Brown, a Memorial Day message by local military chaplain Col. Timothy M. Samorajski, taps and flags flown throughout the cemetery. In addition to the program, classic cars will be on display from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase,
with all proceeds going to Pinelawn's “Little Angels Fund”, and
we will also be accepting non-perishable food donations to
support Hunger Task Force.

Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket – some seating available

Educational Opportunities

The Chapel of the Pines on the grounds of Pinelawn can be used, or the program can be brought to your organization or home.
