Upcoming Programs and Events at Pinelawn
Memorial
Day 2008 - To be held at 9:45 am on Monday, May 26th, 2008 at
Veterans Island in the center of the Park. Program will remember those who have
passed away as well as honor and memorialize military veterans.
Necessary
Conversations
- Complimentary educational programs by the staff at Pinelawn can be arranged
with the proper notification. This program gives information on Veterans Benefits,
Wills & Living Wills, Cremation and preplanning for cemetery and funeral
arrangements.
The Chapel of
the Pines on the grounds of Pinelawn can be used, or the program can be brought
to your organization or home.

Educational
Opportunities
This
year's program will feature Keynote Speaker Major Charles Winchester, The American
Legion Uihlein Post, and the Marine Corp Recruiting Station-Milwaukee Color
Guard who will pay tribute to our veterans. The program will include music,
local military chaplain, taps and flags will be flown throughout the cemetery.
Food
and refreshments will be available for purchase with proceeds
going to
Pinelawn’s “Little Angels Fund”.
Guest are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket – some seating available.
